The White Hart was originally on the other side of the road near the top of Johnny
Ball Lane, around 1871 the business moved into what had been two separate houses
on the corner with Terrell Street. Both the pub and this end of Terrell Street disappeared
around 1964 to make way for an extension to the Bristol Royal Infirmary.
